In loving memory of Jerry Marrs
Opened in August 2006, we launched the second phase of our growth utilizing a large duplex style building to house our level 4 men and women on opposing sides. Dedicated to Jerry Marrs, cousin to our founder Scott Wisenbaker, this amazing addition opened just 4 short months after receiving the blessed opportunity to take in our very first resident.
Growing up for the most part in the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex Scott and Jerry spent countless hours together experiencing life to the fullest and traveling down the same road leading to addiction, jail, and ultimately the tragic death of beloved cousin Jerry.
It is in his memory that we launched this phase of our development to meet the various needs of the men and women who have successfully completed our level system and have decided to stay beyond 90 days while obtaining the necessary resources to recreate their lives preparing for a home of their own.
Once in this building our residents are looked upon as leaders making themselves available to our newest and greenest residents as family, friend, and mentors. This is the very basis of our "pay it forward" type method of living to be of service to those still caught in the life and death struggle of addiction. The life and death struggle that we have overcome together.
